Axis has officially settled in the new office in Pula. In the structure called Internet Farm, Axis is located in the building 2 of the Polaris area (160 hectares 30km far from Cagliari). The project, made by Studio Gregotti Associati, pays particular attention to the environmental safeguard and enhancement, through reforestation and hydrogeological recovering actions. The Axis Wireless Division will focus on R&D of  new technologies and applications for the Mobile Internet market and in particular on:- Mobile Messaging services (SMS, EMS, MMS);  VAS services (Value Added   Serviceconsumer o enterprise, based on mobile messaging exchanges); - Multimedial services (Videogames  online; Chat; Videoconference); - Mobile Marketing (Mobile interactive adv); - Mobile Streaming (Cinema; Sport; Live Events); - M-Payment One of the most important projects will be related to M-Payment, so called for the “small” value of each transaction compared to the total amount of the whole payment. M-Payment is very useful for all the new types of payment such as pay per click, pay per view, pay per stream, pay per byte.Axis will act as Service and Content Provider, offering and managing the services sold and paid  by M-Payment. In particular: - Digital contents usable through pay per click, such as newspaper articles and other information, e-books, download/streaming audio/video;- Services supplied through pay per use such as meteo, horoscope, pattern recognition services, gaming on line,  ASP services, …Axis will take advantage from the high technologies and databases available at the Consorzio 21 Centre, improving the quality and efficiency of products and services and facing other firms' experience and knowledge.The Axis official settlement in the new Centre is due for July 2003.
