Wireless Solutions. Axis has officially open the Wireless Solution Division. Within the end of March the first applications for last generation mobiles will be available completely developed by the Axis staff and by the Andrea Pili. The technologies are different, C++ and Java are the more used languages. Axis is now considering some agreements with international telephony companies and mobile makers. According to the Managing Director Andrea Pili, the business in the wireless sector will be the so called utility. " We 're mainly focused on the user friendly applications because we believe they are going to be the real killer application in the future. The final user will create the utility set on his own, downloading the applications directly from the Web or finding them already set in his mobile". Within the end of the year Axis will propose a range of 50 new applications.
