DMS: the new product by Axis

DMS (Document Management System), the new system developed by Axis, is a tool conceived to organize necessary activities for the elaboration and management of digital documents within a users community.

DMS has a flexible nature as its structural and functional properties can be adapted to Client's needs and requests, in order to assures him remarkable opportunities of personalization.

As it's reserved to a limited group of users the system is arranged inside a private area, accessible with username and password, which could be connected with a web site.

DMS is equipped with an users management tool that allow to register and qualify people involved in works.

The elaboration of documents, which could be divided into work areas, is a process composed by several steps (documents status) corresponding to as many users levels (roles).

For each document it's necessary to choose a specific work team by appropriate selection of users for each role. DMS assigns different functions to the different roles in working team, from editing to evaluation and approval, until the publication of documents in the site web or their ultimate filing.

So DMS manages to regulate, following a reference criterion, capabilities and responsibilities within documents work teams.

Relating the system interface, that's been projected as user friendly. Every user has got an own personal page which quotes the only information he's interested in, that is the information regarding documents he has been selected for. At the same time a sharing logic optimizes works organization and coordination.

DMS can be set up as multilingual in order to facilitate access and use of foreign people.
