The opening of POLARIS

The opening of Polaris, important research centre in Sardinia. The official opening ceremony took place the 4th and 5th of July in the Parco Scientifico e tecnologico, Pula (Cagliari). The massive structure is located at the slopes of the mountains of the Rio Palaceris and today  shows 5 of the 9 buildings included in the original project.The Axis Wireless Division has an office inside the Internet Farm in building 2, together with 11 other firms. The Axis R&D department is focused on four main subjects:- Content Delivery platform development- Pattern Recognition System- HotMarking anti-hacking System- Personal Communication Systemand free libraries for developers development.The applications download will be available at www.bythewireless.com from the 22nd of July.
