Axis is specialized in the production of web-based software applications; that is managed directly by Axis' server or another one indicated by the customer. With respect to the traditional "software package", the customer has a highly personalized tool in hand, which is continuously improved and updated by Axis staff and which can be accessed from any internet station. To date, solutions for e-tourism, management platforms and complex databank have been realized. The experience gained by the Axis development team allows it to organize customized projects for different operating environments. The advantages of web application can be summarized as follows:

• Single user's licence. With respect to package software, the customer has to buy a single output, which can be used by all the computer stations desired. This advantage is concretized in cost savings (no more multi licences) and a reduction of the computer system complexity  (no more keeping a watch on licence expiry dates).
• Accessibility from different stations/operating offices. There is no simpler way to share corporate information (from orders to invoices) than that of allowing all collaborators to easily and safely access a stable and always up-to-date system.
• Scalability of the solutions adopted. The starting point of Axis' designing philosophy is: what next? That is to say that a project is always conceived as an intermediate phase of something that can be further improved/developed. No output is final; everything that has as its focal element the resolution of the customer's needs can be revised.
